Help Desk Advisor

Salary: £17,000 - £18,000

Due to continued success and growth, this centrally based organisation in Basingstoke, is seeking an experienced Help Desk Advisor who thrives working within a busy and ever changing environment.

Initially this role will be for six months on a fixed term contract however there is a high possibility that it may also become a permanent role.

Duties

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls
  • Be first point of call for telephony escalations from the support team
  • Deal with customer queries and help to resolve problems
  • Work closely with other team members to provide excellent customer service
  • Verify customer data when the customer calls are not busy
  • Respond to email queries and resolve within a timely matter to the customers satisfaction
  • Provide a quality service to customers at all times
  • Support Team Leader with preparation of Excel spreadsheets relating to team stats and performance.
  • Adhere to the departmental schedules and standard operating procedures
  • Complete all mandatory training within the time-scale specified

Skills Required

Candidates will ideally have previous telephone based Customer Service experience. You will be a self-starter who is results-driven and will possess excellent communication skills. You will be a strong team player who can multi-task and prioritise your workload. You must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
