Customer Service Advisor

Salary: £19,000 - £20,000 per annum

Our client based in Basingstoke, are going through an exciting time of growth and are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join their team. This is a varied phone-based role which will also include ad-hoc administration duties and offline support for their customers.

You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis. This will include working 1 Saturday every month with a day off in lieu.

Requirements

  • Responding to customers via email and letters whilst updating platforms
  • Using initiative to call customers where appropriate to resolve enquiries and reduce email dialogue
  • Taking inbound calls from customers, where appropriate to support the success of the overall team
  • Maintaining integrity of case load; ensuring letters, emails and calls are dealt with and resolved to agreed SLAs and to the highest standard
  • Closely managing all customer disputes with retailers to completion and / or escalation to service manager or Compliance Team
  • Analyse data and identify opportunities to improve customer experience

Skills

  • Experience in any form of customer services
  • Experience within financial services would be ideal but not essential
  • Proven experience delivering excellent customer focus
  • Strong telephone manner and communication skills
  • A good team player
