HR Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Due to continued growth, this global organisation is seeking an experienced, CIPD qualified, HR Manager to join their thriving team. The ideal candidate will have International HR exposure and will be able to demonstrate high levels of ER and employment law knowledge. The successful candidate will develop and implement HR strategy and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Duties will also involve supporting, advising and guiding senior managers on complex employment law and ER issues.

This is a hybrid role, initially in the office full time and then 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

  • Provide high level HR advice, support and guidance to senior managers on complex ER issues across the globe and help build high performing teams focused on achieving the business unit / department goals in support of the overall business strategy
  • Develop and manage implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices in support of business strategy which comply with relevant employment legislation in each country and review on a regular basis
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with key senior managers, developing a strong understanding of the business activities to ensure that targeted HR support can be given
  • Manage and oversee complex senior employee relations cases (including disciplinary, capability and grievance matters) through to successful conclusion
  • Support and challenge senior managers on proposed organisational changes and ensure that the planning, consultation, and execution of structural changes is managed through to a successful conclusion
  • Manage and oversee the design and implementation of effective training programmes across the organisation which ensure that our people have the skills, knowledge and capabilities to be effective in their roles
  • Lead the successful completion of any TUPE transfers, ensuring that all affected employees are kept informed throughout the process and all legal obligations are fully discharged
  • Support the HR Director in the successful delivery and roll-out of any HR initiatives / projects
  • Working with the HR Director, develop and manage the company’s approach to employee engagement, and propose and implement targeted actions based on survey results

Skills/Experience required

  • Extensive experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Manager role
  • CIPD Qualified Level 7
  • Excellent business acumen with a high level of integrity and professionalism
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and influencing skills
  • Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven and vast experience in Employee Relations
  • Strong international HR experience
  • Proven project management / change management skills
  • Driven and determined
  • Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
