We are looking for an Installation/commissioning engineer to support the sales team delivering instruments to customers and providing training to customers throughout the UK. The customers range from scrap metal dealers through to Professors at Universities, so the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to adapt their personality style.
On joining the company the successful candidate will shadow one of the team learning about the instruments and their applications.
You will have the opportunity to learn about our products in depth and attend meetings with the sales team to build knowledge prior to installing and providing training.
In addition, the company will be providing a new service to calibrate analytical equipment for the pharmaceutical market and this will fall under the remit of the Installation/commissioning engineer
After initial training the role will be out in the field with the opportunity to work from home when not travelling. This role will eventually be out on the road 3-4 days per week and travel will be UK wide.
The ideal candidate will be very practical with their hands and ideally will have some form of electrical/mechanical installation exposure. A full, clean UK driving licence will be required and due to insurance, must be over the age of 25 years old. A vehicle will be provided to the successful candidate
To be considered for this position candidates should have a relevant experience, with qualifications such as BTEC diploma/A levels combined with GCSE’s including English, Maths and Science. Candidates will have excellent communication skill both verbally and written, attention to detail. A smart disposition is also required.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.45am until 5.00pm and 4pm finish on Friday.apply now
